The first time I went to Red Hill was on a road trip around the Wallowa's I did in 2020. It was the day before my birthday and I brielfy stopped by on my way to Buckhorn Overlook. Fast forward to 2023 and while we were in Enterprise, Oregon, visiting my grandparents we all went out for the day. We stopped once again at Red Hill on our way to Buckhorn Overlook.

We got out and walked to the now abandoned lookout tower. The stairs/ladder was down and there was no way to climb it. So we settled for pictures of the lookout tower and of the view to the east. It requires a driving many miles on backroads to get there, but overall it's an easy peak to bag. You can almost drive up to it.
