South Twin Lake has a campground, resort, day use area, and boat launch. It definitely felt less “wild” and the resort even had a dock. The Forest Service notes this lake sees "heavy usage" and says "This site is a popular swimming and picnicking area in the summer months. There is a boat ramp here for non-motorized boats."

I did think, even with it being "less wild" that it was still a pretty lake, there were some cattails along a few sections of the lake and some sandy beach along the day use area.
