We accessed this lake through the campground which leads to a boat launch area. It was pretty smoky out from the nearby forest fires. The lake seemed popular with fishermen and there were some sandy beach along the edge. I was most impressed by the depth of the lake when researching it and it's age. North Twin Lake is less popular than it's sibling South Twin Lake, so if you're looking for a lake with less people this would be the one to choose between the two.
