After stopping at North & South Twin Lakes we continued down FS 4260, past North Wickiup Campground to North Wickiup Boating Site. It is a day use area with a large boat ramp. There was no one else parked there so we had it to ourself. The water level was pretty low so lots of stumps were visible. The reservoir is rather big and sprawling. We saw one person out on a motorized boat.

According to the Forest Service, "by October the water level gets pretty low. It's also a great spot for wildlife viewing due to bird migrations."
