My cousin and I stopped at the Clear Lake Day Use Area on our drive to Sisters, OR. The lake appeared to be quite popular. We were lucky to find a parking spot, even late in the afternoon. There's a full on resort with cabins and a store at the lake.
We explored around the marina area. The lake's name is definitely fitting, it is very clear. The water was beautiful and we could see down to the bottom of the lake from the dock. There was a good amount of people out in kayaks and SUP's. The fall colors starting to line the lake were stunning. Well worth the quick stop.
